Toddler Information Night
2/25/2010 - 2/25/2010
6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: Ms. Cassandra's Room

Join the BGMS Toddler Guides as they present the topic:

The Burgeoning Linguist: Encouraging Healthy Language Development in Your Toddler

All children under 3 absorb the languages around them and create their own native languages with little effort through the use of the Absorbent Mind.  Recently, however, language delays and difficulties seem more prevalent in young children.  Why does it seem that young children have more language difficulties in modern times?  And, what can parents and caregivers do to encourage the healthy development of language at a young age?

On Thursday, February 25th, from 6:30 to 8:00pm in Ms. Cassandra's room, please join Amanda Smith, Toddler Guide, and Cristel Ruiz, Parent-Infant Guide and Toddler Guide, for a presentation and parent discussion on healthy language development, the support of recent brain research for the Montessori method of early language introduction, and practical, simple ways to include language-boosting ideas into your daily routines.

RSVP in the BGMS Office by Wednesday, February 24th

Open to ALL BGMS Parents & Prospective Parents, so please invite anyone you feel may be interested in our Toddler Program.
