Parent Organization


The purpose of the BGMS Parent Organization is to provide fundraising support, lend support to the guides and staff and coordinate education/social programs with the Head of School.  All BGMS parents are automatically members and are encouraged to participate in the P.O. meetings and events such as:


Fall Mixer

A popular BGMS tradition, the Fall Mixer is an opportunity for parents and staff to meet for a casual adult evening.  The event is also a fun way to kick off the Annual Fund Drive, hors d'oeuvres and entertainment is provided.


Fall Fund-raiser

As with virtually all successful independent schools, tuition and fees fund only a portion of actual expenses.  The Fall Fund-raiser is one of many opportunities for private and corporate support.  Fundraising Opportunities


Spring Soirée

An adult evening out featuring cocktails, dinner and live and silent auctions, featuring class projects from every level.


Family Socials (Year-round)

The parent organization sponsors a variety of family-centered activities.  Past events have included picnics, restaurant parties and holiday celebrations.


The activities promise to add a new dimension to the overall experience of BGMS.  Dates and events to be announced.
