Board of Trustees

 

The Barbara Gordon Montessori School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization governed by a Board of Trustees.  All monies received by the corporation are used to support the school, with the Board of Trustees receiving no salaries for their services.  The Board consists of 6 to 15 members each serving a 3-year term.  In addition, Advisory Members of the Board of Trustees may serve 1-year terms in an advisory capacity without voting authority.  The Presidents of the Parent Organization and the Dads Club serve on the Board as “ex-officio members” and act as liaisons between the Board of Trustees, Head of School and the parent community.

Parents and staff are welcome and encouraged to sit on an open committee.  Please feel free to contact any Board member for more information or to express your interest.
