Rosa obtained a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Education from the Universidad Autónoma de Queretaro in Mexico. She holds the AMI Primary diploma and recently, completed the AMI Elementary Training at the Montessori Institute of North Texas (MINT). Rosa joined BGMS in 1999. She enjoys traveling, reading and music.

NELDA BAYER (Mrs. Bayer) Co-Guide

Nelda has a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with specialization in Montessori. She earned her Montessori Elementary diploma in Bergamo, Italy. Mrs. Bayer is a well-respected figure in the Montessori community of the Metroplex. She is a longtime Elementary guide, primarily at St. Alcuin Montessori School, Dallas. She was our own Interim Head of School in 2005-2006. She has returned periodically to consult and assist our Elementary program, and occasionally to accompany the children on a geological field trip.

WILLIAM CUNNINGHAM (Mr. Cunningham) Guide

Billy earned a B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in German from the University of North Texas. He obtained an AMI Primary diploma at the Toronto Montessori Institute and an AMI Elementary diploma from the Sion Hill Montessori Training Center in Dublin, Ireland. Billy has 24 years of teaching experience with 14 at BGMS. He is the father of five Montessori children, two currently at BGMS.

SUSAN BAUDUIN (Ms. Bauduin) Assistant to Mr. Cunningham

Susan has 21 years of experience in childcare as well as 10 years as an assistant in a Montessori school. She grew up in Florida, and has lived here for the last 16 years. Susan has a daughter and a son. Susan is a collector of clowns and cookie jars, and loves music and football.
